Secretary’s Report – September 2023

Aloha members,

We are happy to report that of our 4,880 members, 95% have renewed their dues. If you happen to be part of the 5% who have not paid, we hope you will send in your dues payment soon. Now that we have a membership cap of 5000, there is currently a waitlist of about 75 candidates. In the past we could not drop a member for nonpayment until March 2024. At the Grand Lodge convention in July, it was voted to change this process. If a member wishes to drop their membership, they can notify the Lodge and we can drop them before March of next year. Although we would prefer you to renew, if for some reason you have not paid your dues and do not intend to continue your membership you can contact the membership office and we can drop you now, rather than wait until March. This would allow candidates on the waitlist to join. Are you getting the weekly eblast? If not, please call to update your email address. In order to better serve you, please make sure your address and phone are current as well. We hope you all had a happy and safe summer.
